We encourage all clients to carefully review this policy before purchasing any services. By using our services, you agree to the terms and conditions outlined in this policy.

2. Services Covered by This Policy

This Refund Policy applies to the following services and products offered by FormosaFinCoach:

  • One-on-one financial coaching sessions
  • Group coaching programs
  • Financial planning packages
  • Digital products (e-books, courses, webinars)

3. One-on-One Financial Coaching Sessions

3.1 Cancellation Policy

We understand that circumstances may arise that require you to reschedule or cancel your coaching session. Our cancellation policy is as follows:

  • More than 48 hours' notice: Full refund or rescheduling without penalty
  • 24-48 hours' notice: 75% refund or rescheduling without penalty
  • Less than 24 hours' notice: 50% refund or rescheduling with a 25% rescheduling fee
  • No-shows: No refund will be provided

3.2 Satisfaction Guarantee

We stand behind the quality of our coaching services. If you are not completely satisfied with your initial coaching session, please notify us within 7 days of the session, and we will offer one of the following options:

  • A complementary follow-up session to address your concerns
  • Reassignment to a different coach (subject to availability)
  • A partial refund of 50% of the session fee

This satisfaction guarantee applies only to the first coaching session with a new client.

4. Financial Planning Packages

4.1 Cooling-Off Period

For comprehensive financial planning packages, we offer a 14-day cooling-off period from the date of purchase. If you decide to cancel within this period and before any substantive work has begun, you will receive a full refund minus a 10% administrative fee.

4.2 Partial Completion

If you cancel a financial planning package after work has begun:

  • After initial consultation but before delivery of draft plan: 70% refund
  • After draft plan delivery but before final plan: 40% refund
  • After final plan delivery: No refund

The percentage of completion will be determined by FormosaFinCoach based on the services rendered up to the cancellation date.

5. Digital Products

5.1 E-Books and Digital Downloads

Due to the nature of digital products, all sales of e-books and other downloadable materials are final. No refunds will be provided once the digital product has been downloaded or accessed.

5.2 Online Courses

For online courses, we offer a 14-day money-back guarantee from the date of purchase, provided that:

  • You have not completed more than 25% of the course content
  • You can provide valid reasons why the course did not meet your expectations
  • You submit your refund request in writing to contact@formosafincoach.com

5.3 Webinars and Live Online Events

For pre-registered webinars and live online events:

  • Cancellation more than 7 days before the event: Full refund
  • Cancellation 3-7 days before the event: 75% refund
  • Cancellation less than 3 days before the event: 50% refund
  • No-shows: No refund

If we need to cancel or reschedule a webinar or live event, you will be offered either a full refund or the option to attend the rescheduled event.

6. Workshops and Seminars

6.1 In-Person Events

For in-person workshops and seminars:

  • Cancellation more than 14 days before the event: Full refund minus a 10% administrative fee
  • Cancellation 7-14 days before the event: 75% refund
  • Cancellation 3-7 days before the event: 50% refund
  • Cancellation less than 3 days before the event or no-shows: No refund

Instead of cancelling, you may transfer your registration to another person at no additional cost by notifying us in advance.

6.2 Event Cancellation by FormosaFinCoach

If we need to cancel an in-person event due to unforeseen circumstances (including but not limited to instructor illness, natural disasters, or insufficient enrollment), we will provide one of the following options:

  • Full refund of the registration fee
  • Credit toward a future event
  • Replacement with an equivalent virtual event where applicable

Please note that FormosaFinCoach is not responsible for any travel, accommodation, or other expenses incurred by participants in the event of cancellation.

7. Subscription Services

7.1 Recurring Memberships

For subscription-based services:

  • You may cancel your subscription at any time through your account settings or by contacting us
  • No partial refunds will be provided for the current billing period
  • Your subscription will remain active until the end of the current billing period
  • No further charges will be made after cancellation

7.2 Annual Subscriptions

For annual subscriptions paid in full:

  • Cancellations within the first 30 days: Prorated refund minus a 10% administrative fee
  • Cancellations after 30 days: No refund will be provided

8. How to Request a Refund

To request a refund, please follow these steps:

  1. Contact us at contact@formosafincoach.com with the subject line "Refund Request"
  2. Include your full name, contact information, and purchase details (date, service/product, amount)
  3. Provide a brief explanation for your refund request
  4. Include any relevant documentation or information

We aim to process all refund requests within 5-7 business days. Approved refunds will be issued using the original payment method whenever possible. Please allow 7-14 business days for the refund to appear in your account, depending on your financial institution.

9. Exceptions and Special Circumstances

We recognize that exceptional circumstances can arise. In cases of serious illness, family emergencies, or other extenuating circumstances, we may consider refund requests outside of our standard policy on a case-by-case basis. Documentation may be required to support such requests.
